We have done a number of music and historical presentations since our branch's inception. In addition to music for various Masses in partnership with our local Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians and Ancient Order of Hibernians divisions, we have done a number of musical history programs such as
"Songs of the Easter Rising"
"Songs of the 1798 Uprising"
"Songs of Irish Immigration"
Currently, we are presenting our latest program, "You Have Lost America by the Irish": Irish and Irish-Americans in the American Revolution Through History and Music. This engaging presentation discusses the important part the Irish and Irish-Americans played in the formation of America and its War of Independence from Great Britain! Historian and Comhaltas member Bill Devlin explains the history via a Powerpoint presentation, with songs and music from the period presented by the musicians of our branch. Learn about the brave Irish and Irish-Americans who fought for our country's freedom, and the contributions they made to form America! If you would like to learn more about this America250 presentation for your venue, please contact us at andymcganncce@gmail.com for more information - we are currently booking this presentation throughout the area in 2026.
