Saturday, March 7, 2026, 2 to 3:30 pm - "You Have Lost America by the Irish": Irish and Irish-Americans in the American Revolution Through History and Music at the Danbury Museum & Historical Society, 43 Main Street, Danbury, CT. Could the American Revolution Have Been Won without their (Irish and Irish-American) participation? Come and Find Out! This engaging program will present the important part the Irish and Irish-Americans played in the formation of America and its War of Independence from Great Britain! Historian and Comhaltas member Bill Devlin will explain the history via a Powerpoint presentation, with songs and music from the period presented by the musicians of our branch. Learn about the brave Irish and Irish-Americans who fought for our country's freedom, and the contributions they made to form America!
