Monday, June 16th , 6:30 pm - Bloomsday at the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center, 6 Lake Avenue, Danbury, CT. Tickets are $20 in advance, and are available NOW for purchase soon through the Zeffy platform! When you check out, please use the drop down menu to set your optional donation to Zeffy to $0 if you wish - you do not have to make an optional donation to Zeffy (although this is how they are able to give all proceeds to our branch without us incurring any expense for selling online!) If you choose to purchase your ticket at the door, it will be $25 as cash or check payable to Andy McGann CCE.
Saturday, June 21st, 11 am - St. Colmcille Mass at St. Peter's Church, 104 Main Street, Danbury, CT - in partnership with the J. Philip Gallagher Division #3 of the Ancient Order of Hibernians
Saturday, August 16th, 11 am - Lady of Knock Mass at St. Peter's Church, 104 Main Street, Danbury, CT - in partnership with the Mary McWhorter Division #58 of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians
Saturday, September 6th, 12 pm - Litchfield County Irish Festival at Harrybrooke Park, 100 Still River Drive, New Milford, CT - presented by the Litchfield County Irish American Club. Musicians from our branch will be performing at the festival (time TBD) and we will also have a table in the cultural area of the festival, with information about our branch.
Sunday, September 7th, 1 to 4 pm - Andy McGann Comhaltas member social at Charter Oak Brewing Company, 39B Shelter Rock Road, Danbury, CT. All current members, and potential new members, are invited to join us at Charter Oak Brewing Company in Danbury, for an opportunity to meet the Comhaltas board members, other branch members, and enjoy hamburgers & hot dogs from the branch. Potluck for side dishes is encouraged, and there will be beer, wine, hard cider and sodas available for purchase from Charter Oak! Bring the whole family - there will even be a mini-session!
Saturday, September 20th & Sunday, September 21st, 12 pm - Greater Danbury Irish Festival on the City Center Danbury green, 1 Ives Street in Danbury, CT - presented by the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center & Foundation. Musicians from our branch will be kicking off the festival with a Main Stage musical performance at 12 pm on Saturday, September 20th, and we will also have a table in the cultural area of the festival, with information about our branch.
Saturday, November 22nd, 4 to 6 pm - "Carolan & Cocktails" fundraiser for the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Foundation at the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center, 6 Lake Avenue, Danbury, CT
Saturday, December 20th, 6 to 9 pm - "Carols & Candles" Christmas performance & carol singalong at the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center, 6 Lake Avenue, Danbury, CT
